Looks like a good opportunity to pick up a Polaris for parts. No reserve, currently US$81, ends tomorrow (November 14).

editor software sequencer

Hi list!
Everything on my original Atari [Kirschning] disc works fine except the tiny sequencer. I think the former owner (Matthias Becker) might have trashed that file for some reason. Anyone who uses the program mentioned and/or might have it around? I only want to get that sequencer file back 'cause it makes programming so much easier.

Hi Jesper,
did you try to contact Oliver Kirschning <oliver.kirschning@gmx.de> or Ernst Eimer [21010299] who wrote the [notes on the Atari Editor]? Or perhaps Mark Glinsky might have one Hope this helps.
Best regards from Switzerland
Werner
NB: did you sell the PS?

I think I did contact them earlier to know more and as I recall both mails bounced. :(
Or perhaps Mark Glinsky might have one. Hope this helps.
Probably not, but I'll have a try again.
NB: did you sell the PS?
Yes, 3150 euro to spend on other nice gear. Four little drummers on their way for example, but that's off-topic...

Another voice card on Ebay

I see there's another voice card on Ebay ($75US starting bid, $95 buy-it-now price).
Does anyone know if this is the same card that is being continually relisted [October, November] - or did the others sell (and this is a another one for sale).
Doug Terrebonne [21030114] · Tue, 23 Nov 2004 18:16:24 -0800
This seller seems to have parted out a complete Chroma and at the $95 per voice card he's been getting it is tempting for me to do the same with my Chroma I want to sell but don't want to deal with shipping... Kind of a shame though to part out a working synth though...

AMEN! You deserved to be kicked out of this list if you do! ;)

My guess it's the same... I would've loved an extra card just in case, but the shipping isn't that cool though...

I corresponded via multiple emails with the person selling the voice card on Ebay. He had two more cards. We worked on a deal for me to buy those two. Everything was going fine until I wanted to get his address and phone number. Now, the deal is off. I have the money. I wanted to buy the cards, but his actions throw a yellow caution flag to me. So, be careful dealing with this guy.
I am in the market for two good cards if anyone has any for sale.

99% sure it's the same guy/card. The auction price is about the same as last time, photo appears the same and AGAIN, does not ship outside the USA. (Seller did not reply to my email asking if he could ship to Canada even if appropriate shipping costs were paid).

Have you checked by searching for finished auctions? Or was the last one too long ago?

I remember that weeks ago somebody in this list did contact the seller and serial number and other information of the "disassembled" unit were given from the seller. The keyboard was also up for sale I think. I did purchase one of the cards a couple of weeks ago, not yet received so definitely I hope the new card for sale is not the same one :-)
Jimmy Moyer [21030184] · Wed, 24 Nov 2004 20:26:25 EST
I bought one of those for my spares stock. Came on time and works fine. Interestingly, I bought another card on ebay -October 2003 - it came from the same seller.
Maybe he's fabricating voice cards in his basement. ;)
